In Chair Yoga classes, a chair is used for support while sitting or standing. This class is ideal for ANYONE of any age and any level of mobility. Traditional yoga poses are modified to be practiced using a chair while still connecting movement with breath, incorporating mindful relaxation, gentle stretching, and strengthening. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and modifications will be offered for those ready to deepen their yoga practice.
Class begins promptly. Please arrive 5 minutes early to set up your mat, turn off your cell phone, and unwind.
