Description

Join us on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at Double Durango Farm in Loganville, GA for an hour of beginner friendly yoga with goats. The friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats on Double Durango Farm are playful and sweet. Follow along during yoga class or just sit and play with a goat. This is a fun event open to everyone ages 7 and up, even if you’ve never done yoga.

You’re welcome to take pictures during and after class.

Class will be in the clean outside pen on the lawn unless there’s rain. If that’s the case, we’ll use the yoga barn.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

COVID-19 Safety:  Masks are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for this event, ESPECIALLY if there’s rain and class takes place in the indoor yoga barn.

Event Location: The address for Double Durango Farm will be emailed only to registered students.

Minimum Age:  7 and up, and children should be able to mostly stay on their mat.

Public Restrooms:  There is one portable toilet (porta pot) available for your use on the farm.

CancellationsNo refunds will be given. If a cancellation is necessary, you will have a credit towards a future goat yoga class, online Zoom yoga classes, or future in-person yoga classes post-COVID.

Arrival Time:  Class begins promptly! Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, sign a waiver and set up your mat.

Yoga Mats: You are welcome to bring your own, or you can rent a mat for $5. Cash is easiest, although PayPal and Venmo work too. This fee will be paid directly to Double Durango Farm on the day of the event.

Other Items to Bring/Clothing:  Wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty or a goat nibbling. T-shirts work better than tank tops to avoid scratched skin. Consider braiding long hair or wearing a ponytail or bun. Bring water. Sunscreen and bug spray might be necessary, and your phone can be used for taking pictures.

What Not to Bring: Leave the jewelry at home since goats like it and want to eat it. Do not bring food or pets.

Goat Accidents: It does occasionally happen, but goat poop are pellets which brush away easily. We will have wipes on hand “just in case” plus you can bring a small towel if you’d like.
