You don’t have to be flexible, athletic, or experienced to enjoy yoga.
Senior Chair Yoga is a comfortable, welcoming way to stay active and connected while working with your body’s abilities and needs. Most movements are experienced while seated in a chair, with some optional standing exercises when appropriate.
Safe, accessible exercises can help you build strength and practice balance at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Gentle stretching and mindful breathing can help release everyday tension and leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.
You won't need to get down on a yoga mat or worry about getting back up. Chair Yoga makes yoga accessible while keeping you comfortably supported.
Yoga isn't just about movement. It's also an opportunity to connect with others, enjoy some time together, and make wellness part of your community.
Life changes as we get older, but taking care of yourself never goes out of style.
Senior Chair Yoga gives residents and community members an opportunity to slow down, move with intention, and enjoy the benefits of yoga in a supportive environment.
